The All-New 2020 Escape is Here!

The 2020 Escape has arrived here at Vickar ford and we would like to share with you some important notes of this fantastic ride. Being an All-New vehicle, Ford has done some improvements and here are a few things you can expect when you check it out.

Hood Release

The hood release has changed, instead of pulling the interior hood release and then having to go out and undo a secondary release Ford has decided to implement a new system which works by pulling the interior hood release TWICE and, that’s it! Your hood will be open. If you ask me, that’s a welcome change as searching under the hood for the second mechanism is a tedious task.

Exterior Style

The front now has a new hexagonal grill, and stouter nose. The headlights and tail lights are much sleeker. It’s quite a different look from the 2019 model don’t you think?

Interior

Compared to the 2019, the new 2020 has its touchscreen protruding above the dash instead of the embedded infotainment screen we used to know. You’ll have to say goodbye to the traditional shifter but say hello to more un-obstructed cabin space around the new shifting dial, which, on paper sounds like a pretty good concept actually, though might take some getting used to. At fist glance the materials inside do provide a nice sense of quality.

The 2020 Escape is available in S, SE, SE Sport, SEL, and Titanium trim levels.
