2019 Ford Mustang: Still Wild and Free

What better way to enjoy those warm summer nights that are surely on the way soon (we know they are!) than cruising behind the wheel of a 2019 Ford Mustang?
Whether you opt for the classically retro fastback, the wind-in-your hair convertible or the rip-roaring GT350 version, the Ford Mustang might just be the ultimate summer night cruising partner.
In 2018, Ford revealed a mildly redesigned look for the Mustang; the Fastback body style. This remains for 2019, along with an available convertible body type, as well. The Shelby GT350 exists only as a Fastback.
In terms of power, the 3.7L V6 remains history (officially dumped as of 2018), but the replacement base engine, a 2.3L 4-cylinder EcoBoost that produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque (when premium fuel is used) has filled the slot nicely. You can also spec your 2019 Mustang with the well-known and loved 5.0L V8 that pushes out 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. While there is a 6-speed manual available, there is also a rather unique automatic available for both engines: a 10-speed.
Inside the 2019 Ford Mustang you’ll find available features like a 12” LCD digital gauge cluster with MyColor (EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium models), SYNC3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, all made accessible with an 8.0” LCD touchscreen. Something called FordPass is an app easily downloaded to your smartphone that can be used to remotely start your vehicle, lock and unlock, check fuel levels, and even locate your parked car.
The 2019 Ford Mustang is just as much fun to drive as it is to be a passenger in – especially on those warm summer nights with the windows down (or the top down), listening to that V8 rumble on the open road.
