The 2019 Ford Fusion gets a host of improvements that touch on its safety, its design, its performance and its fuel economy. Announced a few weeks ago, these changes make the Ford Fusion which was just recently redesigned that much more appealing to buyers looking for a mid-size sedan that doesn’t compromise.
2019 Ford Fusion first to feature Ford Co-Pilot360
The Ford Fusion’s safety has been dramatically increased with the addition of the Ford Co-Pilot360 system, a suite of driver assistance technologies that include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot information system, lane keeping system, rear backup camera and auto high-beam lighting.
Top-of-the-line models will feature more equipment as well including adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality in the Ford Fusion Titanium and Fusion Hybrid models. The exterior design of all models in the 2019 Ford Fusion lineup is also improved. Indeed, the new Fusion features a sleeker profile with new colors to choose from.
As for the Ford Fusion Energi PHEV, the lineup’s plug-in hybrid variant, it gets more range and can now function for about 40 kilometers using only the electric motor.
