The new 2017 Ford Mustang is at Vickar Ford in Winnipeg. It's a great sports car for road trips or drive on the weekends. Come take a test drive today!

The iconic 2017 Ford Mustang will inject plenty of thrills and fun into your everyday routine. Ford offers the famous pony car as a fastback coupe or convertible, with 5 different well-appointed trims called V-6, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT and GT Premium. Each one features dynamic good looks, a comfortable interior and advanced onboard electronics.

3 Different Engines in the 2017 Mustang
Three different engine choices are available for the 2017 Ford Mustang, changing how the car performs. As the base offering, the 3.7-litre V-6 pushes out a respectable 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque for strong acceleration. Shoppers who want a supreme mixture of fun and practicality can go with the 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder. It combines turbocharging and direct injection to put out 310 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque, while conserving fuel.

For hardcore enthusiasts, the 2017 Ford Mustang GT is the best fit. It's powered by a monstrous 5.0-litre V-8 engine, which is rated a thunderous 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. All three engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, which can be controlled manually with paddle shifters.

Of course, you get more than just raw power with the 2017 Ford Mustang. An independent rear suspension helps the car hug turns. All models are balanced out with four-wheel disc brakes, plus 2-piston calipers in the front for V-6 and EcoBoost trims. The GT versions of the car feature 4-piston front brake calipers for even more dependable performance. Electronic line lock is exclusive to the GT, making performing a burnout far easier.

Modern Safety Equipment in the 2017 Mustang
Many modern safety equipment comes standard or can be added to the 2017 Ford Mustang. Some features are designed to prevent accidents, while others make collisions less severe. The airbag system includes a bag integrated into the glove-box, protecting the front passenger's knees. Drivers enjoy greater control in a variety of conditions with AdvanceTrac, which works with the electronic stability control. An SOS Post-Crash Alert System provides additional help after a wreck. Many advanced technologies can be added to the car, including adaptive cruise control and MyKey.

Comfortable & Convenient Interior
While the exterior of the 2017 Ford Mustang looks muscular and athletic, the interior is all about comfort and convenience. A cabin particulate air filter comes on all models, while Premium trims gain a dual-zone automatic temperature control system. EcoBoost trims feature an active noise cancellation technology, helping to keep the cabin serene at all times. The standard centre console comes with an integrated full armrest. Optional all-weather floor mats proudly display the Mustang insignia, plus nibbed backing to prevent the mats from sliding around. A rearview camera is included on all versions of the car, helping drivers to spot obstacles from behind when backing up. All models include Track Apps, or a suite of driver aids that measure and improve performance when at a closed-course track.
